At least three miners were killed and 130 rescued when water surged into a coal mine in northwest China, state-run media reported on Tuesday.
The incident occurred late Monday at a coal mine in Baiyin City, located in China’s northwest Gansu province late, according to Xinhua News.
Local authorities rescued 130 out of 133 workers from the worksite, however, three were initially reported missing.
The bodies of the missing three miners were recovered on Tuesday, with no vital signs were detected.
